17th March. Following the rapidly changing situation with the Corona Virus, we have decided that the book group won't meet until further notice. However members are encouraged to keep on reading as we have chosen books for the next few months.

As you know, we meet at 1200 for lunch on the same day as the main U3A meeting, and begin our discussion about the book at 1230 so that no-one feels obliged to buy a meal.

Forthcoming books:

19th March: LIttle Dorrit by Charles Dickens - NB this is a long book, so it is worth beginning it in good time.

16 April: The Horse on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier

21 May The Slaves of Solitude by Patrick Hamilton

18 June: Her Boke by Anne Hughes (diary of a farmer's wife)

16 July: Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantell
