St. John's Mill (SJM) and the u3a
St. John's Mill has been the focal point for u3a (Isle of Man)'s activities since its inception. Members are made very welcome and they greatly appreciate the Mill and its surroundings. Read more in SJM and the u3a and visit SJM Website
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Your membership of the u3a Isle of Man for the year 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 is £17.00.
The renewal fee is £17 (seventeen pounds) and can be paid by one of the following methods (bank transfer being our preferred method):
Bank transfer: make an online payment to our bank account (account name: The University of the Third Age (Isle of Man); sort code 40-19-38: account number: 94131932. We need a payment reference to identify your payment, so please put the initial(s) and surname(s) to indicate the u3a members covered by the online payment.
If your bank system gives you the options of Personal or Business, choose Business.
Cheque: make the cheque payable to “University of the Third Age (IOM)” and post it to Evelyn Corrin, 48 Howe Road, Onchan, IM3 2AZ (please note that postage is now 85p) or hand the cheque to Evelyn at one of the monthly meetings at St John’s Mill. Please put the initial(s) and surname(s) on the back of the cheque to indicate the u3a members covered by the cheque payment.

Please note that a proportion of the member subscription (currently £3.50) is paid to the Third Age Trust to cover insurance, support, resources and the Third Age Matters magazine. An additional amount (£1) is also paid to the Trust for the use of the Beacon membership management system.
Our subscription fee allows you to join as many interest groups as you wish. You will also be invited to attend our monthly meetings and will be able to vote at the AGM.
Membership of the Isle of Man u3a also means you can join UK u3a events as a visitor, when on holiday in the UK or visiting family/friends.
