Spanish Conversation

The Spanish conversation group is for anyone who has an interest in practicing speaking in Spanish where they can meet over a cup of coffee/tea. Any topic can be brought such as a holiday or visit locally or topic in the news.
One word of warning – if your topic is likely to cause heated arguments – people tend to default to English as they so strongly want to be understood!! This reduces the practicing of spoken Spanish! The meetings are usually quite small. Some participants take holidays in Spain, others have connections with South America.
We welcome all levels of spoken Spanish and invite participants to prepare some words/paragraphs or even a couple of pages to share with others in the group…..or improvise. The group is very friendly and not frightening!
