As well as reviewing the current group Whodunnit novel we share views of current crime fiction as seen on the television, and suggest any books or authors whose work we have read that other group members might enjoy.

 The discovery of a dead body in the woods on Thanksgiving brings Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and his colleagues from the Surete du Quebec to a small village in the Eastern Townships. He cannot understand why anyone would want to kill well loved artist Jane Neal, especially any of the residents of Three Pines-a place so free of crime it doesn’t have a police force.
AprilMurder Before Evensong by Rev. Richard Coles
 Canon Daniel Clement is Rector of Champton, where he lives alongside his widowed mother Audrey. When he announces a plan to install a lavatory in the church lines are drawn, long-buried secrets come close to destroying the apparent calm of the village. Then Anthony Bowness, cousin to Bernard De Floures, patron of Champton, is found dead at the back of the church. Police move in and the bodies start piling up. Daniel is the only one who can try and catch a killer.

NovemberSlaughter Man by T Parsons
 On New Year’s Day a wealthy family is found slaughtered inside their gated community in North London, their youngest son stolen. The weapon was a stun gun used on cattle before they are butchered, a method used by a mass killer from 30 years ago, who was nicknamed the Slaughterman. But he has finished his sentence, he is old, and dying. Can he really be killing again?
DecemberThe Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood
 Judith Potts is 77 and blissfully happy living on her own in a faded mansion just outside Marlow. One evening, while swimming in the Thames she witnesses a brutal shooting. The local police don’t believe her story, so she decides to investigate with her friends Suzie and Becks.
