We have plenty of laughter at our meetings, with the occasional strumming thrown in for good measure. At the moment the group is full, in fact we almost have to fight for chairs if everyone is present. There are over forty songs in our repertoire and I am gradually adding more, with a new chord slipped in from time to time.
Although we have not actively looked for ‘Gigs’ we have had a few requests. We have played for the Visually Impaired group which is run by Malcolm, one of our players. Our programme of nearly an hour was well received, with audience participation to boost the singing. One of their members wanted to buy a tape/CD of us playing. Fame at last!
