Welsh Online

I'm the Welsh subject advisor and took on this role partly out of frustration that it was so difficult to get started learning when you don't even have the basics of the language.

This online group is open to anyone expressing an interest in learning Welsh throughout the country. You don't need any knowledge of Welsh, just a willingness to work at it and learn. I'm equally happy to hear from any Welsh speakers who are intermediate or fluent but can't find a group locally. There are a number of groups across the country (beginners, intermediate and fluent levels) who are willing to welcome new members to their online groups. I'm happy to introduce you to the leaders of those groups.

For this group I intend to use free online services, as well as contemporary novels, for a contextual introduction to Welsh.
