Poetry Lovers - Reading and discussion of poetry for pleasure. No experience required, just enthusiasm.
The Poetry Lovers Group now has 12 members. We meet in each others homes and there are about five of us who can host. In the present circumstances we cannot take new members but we will start a waiting list for others to join if anyone leaves. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 2 - 4pm. The group decides on the programme a couple of months ahead and topics are selected. Each member selects two poems to reflect the topic for the meeting and reads them out when we are all together. Ruth Thomson has agreed to liaise with the group and email us before every meeting.
