Local History 1
Local History 1 meet on the 1st Wednesday or 3rd Monday of the month. We visit a range of sites of historical interest, sometimes arranging guides or a group member will research and lead the group. Over the winter we generally share research carried out by members. Every member takes a turn in contributing to the groups programme. Our philosophy is fun and friendship, sharing our passion for history in a stress free fashion and always relaxing together afterwards over a meal.
