We are currently a small group of members that meet on alternate Mondays, subject to Bank Holidays, to share our photos and learn more about photography. We decide on a list of topics we want to cover during the year and each of us ‘researches’ one of the subjects to give a brief talk to the other members. We follow this up with ‘photoshoots’ to try out what we have learnt and then we ‘review’ to see what we have achieved and how we can improve.
The group encourages anyone to come and join in, whether you have a simple compact camera or a full DSLR camera with lots of gear. We have a wide range of experience to share from old hands to developing novices.
We can guarantee a bit of fun and hopefully you will learn how to make improvements! We never stop learning as techniques and equipment keep improving and changing.
At the end of the day it is the photo that matters not the gear.
For more information contact Peter Brown or Richard Hamilton-Foyn.
