Wem & District

Gardening

Wem & District U3As gardening group has the following agreed aims:

(a) To exchange ideas around growing plants, flowers and vegetables within our gardens;
(b) To exchange cuttings and seedlings between members;
(c) To carry out group visits to gardens and nurseries.

We meet every 2nd Friday in the month at 2.00 p.m., from March to October inclusive, although it's always best to check the diary of events. We have an interesting and varied programme for 2020 details of which are given below.

We are always keen to welcome new members and try to cater for everyone's tastes and interests. Please do contact us to find out more by sending a message from this page.

Some of the photos feature "Things we are proud of in our gardens" and we welcome other contributions from group members.
