Geocaching

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE OUR GEOCACHING PROGRAMME IS SUSPENDED DUE TO THE CURRENT MEDICAL UNCERTAINTY. (20 MAR 2020)

Geocaching is an activity in which an item, or a container holding a number of items, is hidden at particular location for GPSr or Smartphone users to find, by means of coordinates posted on the internet.

It is more than a game but less than a sport. Most of all it is fun and will take you to places you didn't know existed.

There are at this time over 3 million geocaches hidden worldwide, there is one near you right now.

We walk and find geocaches on the first Thursday in the month, usually starting at 10am and finishing with lunch (optional).

If you are wondering what Geocaching is about and would like to try before you get any equipment, please contact Mary Sparkes for further details.
