We have adopted an 'open door' policy to any member of Wem U3A who has an issue and needs help, whether this is around basic computer skills or a more advanced topic. Please contact the Computing group so that we can arrange either a meeting of like-minded people to discuss a specific problem or topic, or consider some 1:1 mentoring.
Several members are currently interested in learning more about how to use their mobile devices - nothing too complex, just something to get people started or improve how they use them. So for this year we are planning a series of monthly meetings that will concentrate mainly on how to use your iPad, iPhone or other smartphone to best effect, although others with laptops and tablets are also more than welcome to join us.
Our planned meetings are detailed below, but do please check the website a few days beforehand (or contact us direct) in case any of the meetings have had to be cancelled. We meet in the Castle pub on Wem High Street at 11am (usually by the window, you can't miss us!) so do feel free to pop along anytime.
Please note all meetings scheduled below are unfortunately postponed until further notice. If you need specific help with shopping online or using your smartphone/tablet for contacting people, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
