What We Do:
UkeZoom is for those who want to develop their interest in playing the ukulele. Members meet on Zoom where they can learn to play, improve their playing, and enjoy listening to the great songs and singers that are popular with people of our age group – from the comfort of their home.
New players may borrow a ukulele and receive one-to-one tuition and progress at their own pace. More experienced players can play along to recorded music using simple charts that will be provided.
To join the group sessions which are free, you will need either: a computer, a tablet, or a mobile phone – with the Zoom programme installed. You will also need email to receive music and group-related information.
We are a friendly bunch who get together to learn and play the ukulele. We are of mixed ability but strive to improve our playing whilst singing along and enjoying the music.
