English Language For Interest
Join ELFI - English Language For Interest! We offer a lighthearted look at the history of our language and how it has developed over the centuries into the rich and complex language that we use today. We include topics such as dialects and accents, rhymes and sayings, foreign influences, changes in pronunciation and why it doesn't match spellings, slang and secret languages, a taste of Old English, and English as a global language.
You will find ELFI to be fun and interesting, it certainly isn't a classroom for teaching grammar and spelling!
