Wild Things
About the Wild Things Group
If you like being outdoors enjoying nature, consider joining our group of friendly wildlife enthusiasts. We visit local nature reserves and other similar sites of interest. Enthusiasm is more important than expertise as we can all learn together. All you really need to bring is suitable outdoor clothing including strong shoes or boots. Binoculars and a camera will add considerably to the experience. We always record what we have seen, and you can see reports of past visits using the links on the right hand side of this page.
Where and When
The visits take place on the first Monday of each month. You can see our forward programme for 2023 by clicking on this link 2024 Visit Schedule. All localities are within reasonable driving distance of Beverley, and we operate a car share scheme when needed.
Full details of the next planned trip are shown below. Please note that trips are weather-dependent, so do please keep an eye on your emails for any detail changes.
