Current Groups

Our current special interest groups cover a wide range of indoor and outdoor subjects. Indoor activities embrace art, arts & crafts, current affairs, dining, history, board games, languages, poetry and literature, music and quizzes. Those with an interest in the outdoors will find cycling, natural history, sport, and various walking groups.

Each group has its own web page, listed below, providing more information about the group and what it does, time and place of meetings, and contact person(s). Click on any name in blue and this will open an email dialogue box for you to use.

Please note that a few groups currently have a waiting list to join owing to their popularity and logistical limitations with meeting venues. Members are encouraged to contact the respective Group Coordinator to register their interest.

New Groups

If you do not see a group that covers a particular interest that you have, then do feel free to propose setting up a new one. Please contact the %Groups Facilitator% to begin with.
