Proposed changes to Third Age Trust
The Third Age Trust has invited u3as to comment on a proposal to change its governance structure.
If accepted, this will establish a nationally elected BOARD based on skills and experience, and a new COUNCIL of representatives elected by the regions, nations and u3a networks.
This would require a change to the Trust's Articles of Association and if the feedback is sufficiently positive, the Trust Board intends to ask member u3as for formal approval at the October 2024 AGM.
