Walking

MEETING The group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month bar December. Notices are sent out with details approximately two weeks beforehand. We aim to start walking at 10 am. Members are encouraged to lead walks which are usually within a 30 minute drive of Taunton.

The walks; are usually about 4 miles in length and take about 2 hours, with an optional pub lunch at the end (sometimes we’ll have a picnic). They will include canal-side towpaths, river banks, field tracks, roads and through town centres.

Walkers should be paid up members of the U3A but guests are welcome for a free taster walk.

Dogs are welcome (with one or two exceptions)
