We occasionally have a few vacancies for new members of the short tennis group. We currently meet at the YMCA in Taunton from 2-4pm on Monday and Thursday afternoons. There is a keen nucleus of players but also an opportunity for a few more to join us on a regular basis.
Short tennis is great fun and will be particularly of interest to those who have previously played any racquet sport and who might enjoy a more relaxed format, although it's never too late to learn even as a beginner. Short tennis, as you may know, is played on a badminton court, with a large racquet and a soft ball. Please contact Val or perhaps join us for a cup of tea and a chat at the YMCA most Thursday afternoons. The cost is £2 per session plus 50p for tea & coffee.
