This is a fun, friendly dance group suitable for beginners or returners.
Tap dancing offers a great workout for both the body and mind. It improves balance and coordination, increases flexibility and tones the leg muscles. Learning and remembering new steps and routines is good for the mind and helps develop a sense of rhythm and musicality.
The session starts with gentle warm-up exercises, before moving to basic steps and short sequences building into easy-to-follow dance routines.
The sessions are on Wednesday afternoons, 2.30-3.30pm, in the West Street Church Rooms.
