The Weir Garden Project Group

NOTE: this seasonal project has stopped for the winter but will meet again in APRIL 2024.

U3A members have the opportunity to support the National Trust by assisting with their Rockery Project.

This will involve visiting the gardens once a month for about 3 hours working alongside a NT gardener.
If weather conditions prevent working on the Rockery other jobs associated with the project van be undertaken in the glasshouse.
Tools, gloves and knee-pads will be provided together with guidance - previous experience/knowledge is not required.

More information is available at the monthly U3A meetings - see Anni, Kim or Helen, or contact the Membership Secretary.

NOTE: The Weir Garden is a National Trust property, lying alongside the River Wye, 5 miles west of Hereford on the A436 Brecon Road.

Location : The Weir Garden, Swainshill, Hereford HR4 7QF
