Walking Group 2: 2nd Wed.
This group is led by Kelvin and will have walks of 5 miles and over with optional lunch.
There may occasionally be longer all-day walks, taking a packed lunch.
Please note that dogs are not allowed, due to insurance restrictions.
You will need to be a U3A member to join the group, OR you can try a "taster" walk, pay £3 and provide your contact details before starting the walk. The £3 will be refunded if you join the U3A.
It is hoped that walkers will continue to offer to lead a monthly walk, and that we might have "specials" which could involve an overnight stay.
Details of forthcoming walks can be obtained at the monthly U3A Kindle Centre meeting.
August walk is Weds 9 Aug, a complete circuit of Haugh Wood. Meet at top Haugh Wood Car Park for 10am Start. More details nearer the time from Kelvin. Lunch at local Pub.
