Welcome to U3A Hereford

The National Motto is: Learn, Laugh and Live!

Hereford U3A was established in 1994 and we have about 200 Members. The University of the Third Age is for people no longer in full time employment. No qualifications are sought or offered. Learning together with enjoyment and friendship are the prime motives.

Each U3A is operationally independent but is a member of the 3rd Age Trust, to which an annual capitation fee is paid.

Each U3A is a mutual aid organisation, self funded by membership subscriptions. Costs kept as low as possible.

For under £20 a year you can join in as many of the interest groups as you wish. This includes all general meetings and talks during the year. As a member you will receive at least two newsletters and one magazine with colour photographs a year.

Our general meetings are held on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month from 10.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. Meetings are held in the SHIRE HALL, which has disabled access and a lift if required.
