Petanque
This sounds very French but I am assured that it is great fun and not too energetic.
This is a summer group only. We plan to play on the last Thursday afternoon of the month at least until September but possibly October, weather permitting.
We play in the garden of the Ship Inn, 2 Whites Hill , Winchester SO21 1LT from 2-4pm.
Some of us have lunch there before we start so arrive to eat at 12.30.
It`s not a difficult game and does not have complicated rules so pretty much anyone could play. Everyone is welcome for an outside game –no charge for the use of the pitch.
If you do not have transport there or do not like driving down narrow lanes I will try to arrange a lift.
