Members of the u3a have a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience which as a self-help group can be shared with others.

Or why not come along as a visitor to one of our monthly meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month at 2pm in Fair Oak Village Hall Shorts Road Fair Oak Hants SO50 7EJ, there are plenty of parking spaces. A warm welcome awaits you.

The annual membership fee is currently £20.00 per year, or £10.00 from 1st April to 30th September 2024. Members will receive five copies of the u3a magazine, Third Age Matters a year. A small percentage of the annual subscription goes towards financing the Third Age Trust who provide u3as with advice and support as well as events and activities.

At Eastleigh District u3a in addition to our monthly Open Meetings we offer:

• 27 Groups including Mah-Jong, Current affairs, Walking, Photography, Ping-pong, Gardening and Poetry.
• Events - including talks and taster sessions where there are many opportunities to try something new.
• Outings – we have a programme of visits running throughout the year which has included trips to Sherborne Castle, Stourhead and Bournemouth.
• A Bulletin which is issued bi-monthly and a New Members Booklet containing all the information you need.
• Other social events including lunches and coffee mornings.

Current members can sign up for as many groups as they like and change groups should they wish, but there has to be a vacancy in the group they wish to join. A small fee for venue hire or other group necessities is shared amongst group members.

New members receive an invitation to a new members coffee morning where you can learn more about Eastleigh District u3a and meet other members over a cup of tea.
