Evening Quiz
Quizzes are held on Zoom on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm from October to March. They enable members to meet other members, socialise and have fun without leaving the comfort of their own homes on cold, dark winter's evenings.
A link is sent to all members who have said they would like to take part, and they just click on the link and follow the instructions. We generally start at 7.30pm and have 4 rounds including a picture round, finishing between 9pm and 9.30pm. The host asks questions one round at a time in the main session, then the participants are divided into teams and go into breakout rooms to discuss the questions. When they have come up with a set of team answers everyone returns to the main session for marking. There are no league tables or prizes, these quizzes are purely for fun!
Many new members have found that taking part in our quizzes is a very good way of getting to know other members in a relaxed social setting. If you would like help with accessing and using Zoom ahead of the meeting please send me an email.
