Membership

Membership is open to ALL who are no longer in full time employment

We are a volunteer, self-help organisation

The membership year is 1st September to 31st August - you may join throughout the year.

Chester u3a membership is £16 pp first year and renewal is £12pp thereafter

How to RENEW

See Membership Renewal for details of how to renew membership during August.If you do not manage to renew before the end of October, then contact the membership secretary.

You may renew or join at either of the monthly meetings

Queries and Address Changes
Contact the Membership Secretary if you have any queries or if your personal information has changed e.g. email address, or update your personal information online via the Members Portal

Membership Cards
'Electronic' membership cards are sent to all members with an email address in our records. You may print these out if you want a hard copy or you can save them on your mobile to show if/when required. Gift Aid
If you are an income tax payer you may complete a 'Gift Aid' declaration form at the time of your application or renewal. Your declaration allows Chester U3A to claim tax from the Inland Revenue, provided that you pay income tax and your Gift Aid donations do not exceed the limit set by your income per year.
