Chester U3A

Registered Charity No 1048416

Founded 25 years ago in 1993. Its aim is to encourage people in their third age to come together and continue their enjoyment of learning in subjects of interest to them. Subjects range from Art to Walking. There are approximately 1100 members who may attend one of the 90+ Learning/Interest groups of their choice. If no such group is available then members may start a new group to further their learning.
Chester U3A is a totally volunteer organisation. It relies on the members to volunteer to populate the committee and its groups.

U3A is the only UK educational organisation, entirely run by the members for the members
