Tunes on Chimes
This is great fun and an easy way to learn to read music! As at July 2023 we have 14 members in the group, which was started in May 2010. New members are always welcome, whether experienced or complete beginners. No previous experience is needed, although a sense of rhythm is essential, together with a desire to play in a group! New members will be paired with a mentor. Music, chimes and stands are all provided. We are not aiming for concert performance standard, but to have fun while playing a variety of tunes and developing our skills.
We meet in Bargates Hall on Monday afternoons from 2 – 4 pm with a refreshment break at 3pm. We make a small weekly charge to cover costs.
