|Group Leaders:||Graham and Ann Burbridge|
|Location:||The Moot Hall, Priory Centre|
|Meets:||2.00pm to 4.00pm, First Wednesday of each month|
Please note that there will be no meeting on the 1st of January 2020
Our amatuer Philosophy group's approach is guided by this quote from Stanford University, California. "Philosophy should be engaged and applied, addressing questions as they arise in the real world". At our meetings we have a short talk and then discuss or questions, sitting in groups of about 6, always varying the groups we sit in. We give advance notice of the questions we will discuss, by email.
We always welcome new members and in December we will be discussing Happiness and some Famous Quotes.
Some of our future topics will be on Eastern Philosophy, Time, The Meaning of Life, Inequality, Societies and The Truth.
