Guitar

The Sale U3A Guitar group is a 'learning to play the guitar' group. We are all at different levels but we all manage to play together! We have a Folk Guitar course, learning chords and finger picking and a 'learning to read music on the guitar' course. We play exclusively on nylon strung classical guitars. Each group member owns their own guitar which they bring along to the sessions. Our group leader supplies all the sheet music needed.

We meet on the 1st, 3rd, 4th (and 5th if exists on the calendar) Tuesdays of the month (except August when the centre will be closed), 2.00pm - 4.00pm at the Sale Moor Community Centre (Norris Road). Most members arrive about 1.45pm so we can be ready for a prompt 2.00pm start.

You are welcome to come for a taster session and see/hear what we do.

If you need further information about our group, you can contact our Group leader: Nicole
