Ukulele

The Ukulele Group meets each fortnight in the Scout Hut (near the railway station) on Mondays from 2 to 4pm.

The group started some 6 years ago and has been very successful with a current membership of about 30 persons.
The emphasis is on enjoyment in both playing and singing and we from time to time get invited to perform for organisations in the area.

We no longer have a teacher as such (our original leader moved away) so do our best to teach each other to improve our skills. We have a range of players from competent to complete beginner and welcome everyone, whatever their ability.

If you have never played before, why not give us a try? We have instruments to borrow and you do not have to read (or learn) music theory. If you are already an expert, you would also be welcome!
