Canasta

Canasta is an extremely popular card game of Uruguayan origin and is part of the rummy family.
The game is played with 108 cards [2 packs] and is easy to learn as well as being an extremely sociable and unpredictable game.
It is commonly played by four people in two partnerships or can be played individually.

The Canasta Group meets once a month on Mondays from 1.30 to 4.30pm and games can last up to an hour.

Everyone is welcome, especially beginners who can learn to play within the Group.
