Lunch

The group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:30pm for a 1pm sit down at a selected restaurant to enjoy a relaxing gastronomic experience. So that we can enjoy a wide range of cuisines, venues are not just in Nairn - we also travel to Inverness, Forres, Elgin and other nearby locations. Generally these are accessible by public transport, so that those who wish can enjoy a drink, but may occasionally be further afield. Meals are not necessarily expensive, since many restaurants offer cheaper lunchtime menus. There will always be a vegetarian option. Some members volunteer to plan a lunch, and details of each venue are sent out by email primarily (or by post to anyone without email). If you wish to attend, it's essential to notify the organiser in advance.
