Meetings in Nairn Community & Arts Centre. Monthly on Wednesday afternoons 2pm-3.30pm

2023-2024 Dates:
20th Sept, 18th Oct, 15th Nov, 13th Dec, 17th Jan, 14th Feb, 13th March, 10th April, 8th May.

Some of the topics covered recently were: Blantyre Mining Disaster 1877, 'The Gutting Quines". History of the Caledonian Canal, "Women as Commodities in the C19th", famous relatives though time, Inverness to Perth Railway. All of these were provided by History group members but providing a talk is not compulsory and some members are happy just to listen and learn. This year we will have two outside speakers talking about topics of specialist interest.
