Our Wednesday meetings generally take place at Nairn Community Centre. Meetings are held fortnightly from September to May, and usually involve a guest speaker. The talk lasts about an hour, and we enjoy tea and biscuits and a wee blether afterwards. We also have a library of donated second-hand books - members are welcome to borrow any you like the look of, and either return it when finished or replace it with a different book.
The meeting starts promptly at 2pm, so please arrive a little earlier to get settled. Non-members and guests are welcome at any meeting. There's a small charge towards room hire.
|Dates for your Diary|
|Wed May 29th||Our annual outing. This year we are going to Duff House, Banff. There is a coach for transportation, and there will be time to wander around the house and grounds, have lunch and perhaps buy a souvenir in the gift shop, before returning to Nairn in the afternoon. Members in Elgin may be picked up and dropped off there. There is no charge for admission, since U3A is an educational group, but to ensure free admission to all parts of the house, please bring with you either your yellow membership card or the outing letter to identify yourself as a member of the group.|
Details and forms are being distributed to all current members. Members are welcome to bring along a non-member guest. Please return the form at any meeting or by post, with your non-refundable deposit of £10 for members and £15 for each non-member guest. The deposit is to help defray the cost of the coach.
