Costs range from free, a donation, or fixed cost depending on the event.
There is no overall leader of this group but rather a consensus of views at a planning meeting every now and again, as to what places we wish to visit.
These are advertised on the website and at the monthly U3A meeting and can be attended by any member of the U3A.
The aim is to have one event each month.

| Tue Apr 30th | There are two spaces available for a talk by local historian David Walshe on ‘Southport Street Names’ at the Windmill pub. The talk starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday 30th April. A couple of us are meeting earlier for a meal. There is no charge for the talk but seats do need to be reserved. Please let Eileen know if you want to attend either via the Local History group page or see her at the meeting. |
