The short social walks will recommence in March 2024. These walks will be once a month on the 4th Tuesday and will run during the finer months of March to October inclusive.
These are short easy walks lasting about 40 - 45 minutes aimed at socialising, as well as gaining some exercise benefit. There is always somewhere to sit and stop and rest along the way. A list of walks will be available at each monthly meeting.
The walk will always end where we can have refreshments

| Tue May 28th | Kings Gardens Meet at 10.15, for a walk along the Promenade and return through the gardens for tea and coffee at the cafe. |
| Tue Jun 25th | Marine Lake. Meet at 10.15 at the Carousel for a walk around the south end of the lake ending at the cafe for tea and coffee. |
| Tue Jul 23rd | Lord Street West. Meet outside the main entrance to the Atkinson for a walk along Lord Street beside the gardens and return for tea or coffee at the Great Little Place. |
| Tue Aug 27th | Victoria Park. Meet at 10.15 am at the front of the Bowling Club Pavilion for a walk around the main ground, then along Rotten Row finishing in Morrison's cafe for tea or coffee or a hot chocolate! |
| Tue Sep 24th | Lord Street East. Meet at 10.15 for ma stroll though the gardens towards Farmfoods and back to A Great little Place for tea or coffee. |
| Tue Oct 22nd | Marine Lake. Meet at 10.15 by the Carousel for the last walk of the year. Walk around Kings Gardens returning via the Venetian Bridge for tea or coffee. |
