Meols (Southport) u3a is a small friendly group covering the whole Southport area and beyond. As part of the U3A movement, our emphasis is on socialising and learning through group and other events and activities.
We meet monthly on the third Friday at 10.15 at Christ Church on Lord Street. There is very little formality. We generally have a speaker followed by refreshments, and time to meet other members. This is also the opportunity to find out about group activities and events. Some groups are represented at tables run by Group Leaders.
We are part of the U3A organisation which exists to provide opportunities for anyone not in full-time employment. Meols U3A is run by members themselves through an elected committee. Find out more about the U3A organisation by visiting https://www.u3a.org.uk

Want to become a member
You can join at a monthly meeting for just £15 per year. To try us out first you can come to a monthly meeting for a contribution of £1, refunded on joining. Or you can join a group activity event once as a taster session.
Please be aware that we do not currently take online payments for membership and you cannot pay for membership of our U3A through other websites.
