Music enjoyment/concerts
We have a range of musical events in the area and occasionally we have travelled to The Sage in Newcastle and to Middlesbrough Town Hall to enjoy concerts. Covid has meant that such occasions have been on hold until we feel secure to travel and be surrounded by a large number of people. Local smaller concerts have been attended in Ripon, Aysgarth, Richmond and in Swaledale. Transport has not been offered on these occasions as there has not been sufficient interest. However, The Wensleydale Concert Series, which will begin later in the year, are offering to fund transport if there is a need.
If you are interested in going to a concert you see advertised, let me know and we may be able to organise a group booking for tickets and transport. Concerts will be advertised in the newsletter.
If you are interested in 'Listening to Music as a group', which has been suggested in the past but did not get any takers, please get in contact. This could be run on the lines of a 'Recorded Music Circle' which I have been in, in the past.
