The new Creative Writing 4 Fun group is flourishing and we are welcoming new members each month.
Would you like to write a creative piece about a ‘Spotty Dotty’ plant? If so why don’t you come and join this fun group?
We meet on the first Wednesday of the month and take turns in choosing the subject to write about and also hosting the meeting.
What is a Spotty Dotty Plant?
Each month we choose a different topic to write about and then get our creative ‘juices’ flowing!

Our Next meeting is on: Wednesday 14th June at 2.30pm.
This is a new group for people who enjoy creative writing and would like to develop their skills. The emphasis is on fun and experimenting with different types of creative writing. I hope there will also be an opportunity to obtain feedback on work completed within the group and also longer pieces that people may have developed on their own. The initial meeting for this group will be on Wednesday 1st February. will be a discussion about how people would like the group to develop.
Topics could include:
• Writing a short piece of 250 words or less about an agreed topic
• Poetry
• Writing to a formula such as Haiku or Limericks
• Feedback on pieces of work
• Topics to develop at home
