Craft Group
Our Group evolved from a few of us chatting at a U3a coffee morning, three of us expressed a desire to learn crochet, while a fourth said she loved to crochet and would be happy to teach us!
We meet fortnightly, in a member's house, and at the moment we are concentrating on crochet, but we all have different talents, so other crafts will be pursued, each member taking on the role of ‘teacher’ if others are interested in learning or brushing up their skills.
Apart from crochet, our skills include knitting, dressmaking, lacemaking, patchwork and quilting and book folding
As we grow, we will look for an alternative venue and encourage others to come along bringing their ongoing project while enjoyingthe craic.
