Ashingdon & Rochford

Flower Arranging

We are a group who meet to improve our flower arranging skills, to learn new techniques and share hints and tips - plus of course enjoy tea, biscuits and a chat!

Our abilities are mixed so whatever somebody's previous experience they are sure to fit in. As we are a self-help group we all contribute and help each other in true U3A spirit.

We meet at 2pm on the 4th Friday of each month at Ashingdon Church Hall, Church Lane, Ashingdon. We are currently working our way through NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies) booklet of designs.

There is a small charge towards the Hall Hire and everyone brings their own containers, flowers and foliage. Those with green fingers are able to use flowers from their gardens. This group is all about learning together and helping each other.

We do have room for new members and anyone interested is welcome to come along to a meeting to see what we do.
