Card and Papercraft
We meet on the 3rd Monday monthly at Hawkwell Baaptist church at 1.30pm.
We are a friendly, mixed ability group who enjoy crafting and experimenting with ideas and techniques. Some of us take it in turns to demonstrate a project but there is no pressure on anyone to do this if they are not confident.
However, it is so rewarding when a member who was completely new to this craft eventually develops the confidence and knowledge to do a demo for the group.
Each month we have a card or other craft make to take away with us. For example, one of our group recently showed us how to make really pretty gift boxes just using one square of paper. We usually publish an example of our latest makes in the Newsletter - so do stop to look.
Anyone who thinks they may be interested is always welcome to come along, see what we do and join us for a 'cuppa' before cmmitting. Do have a word with Wendy or Maureen at one of the monthly meetings or with one of the Group Coordinators, John Stenson.
