Ten Pin Bowling
We play at CJ's bowling lanes, Eldon Way, Hockley SS5 4AD every other Tuesday.
We gather at 10.50am for an 11am start and play until we finish two games - usually around 1pm. It costs £5.30 for two games (paid direct to CJ's). Bowling balls and shoes are provided and there are no other charges unless you want to buy food or drink.
If you've never played ten-pin bowling and you're frightened of making a fool of yourself - DON'T BE! We are a friendly bunch of people who enjoy having a go.
Comfortable, casual clothes should be worn (perhaps trousers for the ladies).
We do not play in school holidays and CJ's do give us off-peak concession during non-term time. We can play unlimited from 11am till 3pm for £7 if we wish, but perhaps that's something to work up to.
