History

If you are interested in the past you are welcome to join us .
We meet monthly usually on second Tuesday of the month at 2pm.
We discuss local and national historical events as well as world history .

Meetings can be OPEN FORUM when people bring along something of interest that they have looked at , heard or read .
This could include THIS DAY IN HISTORY which is a an opportunity to explore events throughout a year.
Some meetings are PRESENTATION MEETINGS when we are given a presentation on a specific topic, followed by a discussion.

Future Meetings;
Thursday 12th march at 2pm in Dingwall Library .
There will be a Presentation on THE ROMANS NORTH OF THE ANTONINE WALL by Katherine Bigmore.

Thursday 9th April at 2pm.
This will be an OPEN FORUM meeting .

We are also currently preparing a group presentation for a larger audience on a local hero. Contributors are welcome.
