Don’t be frightened! It’s not as scary as it sounds.
No need for any prior knowledge, but the group is also suitable for those who have done some Latin, because for them it will be a refresher course.
We use the Cambridge Latin Course. It teaches you from scratch in a very accessible way - not like the boring rote learning you may have done at school.
All you need is a curiosity about this language which has had such an influence on English (and even more on Spanish, Italian and French).
We will also learn a lot about ancient Roman life as we go along.
We meet every two weeks on a Wednesday afternoon.
