Music Appreciaton Classical
This Group meets on the first Friday of each month from 10am - 12noon with a sociable tea break.
Members all try to bring appropriate CD's for the theme of the day, which may be a particular composer or period or style.
The Group also have sessions with no theme except members bring music they like and explain why.
Most of the music is similar to Classic FM, with little that is avant-garde or obscure.
We discuss the music, not usually at length - but we do hope to leave the meeting knowing a little more than when we arrived.
