SHORT WALKERS GROUP
The group usually meets at 10.30am on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Next Meeting: Thursday 18 April is to Ogston Reservoir.
Following Meeting: Thursday 16 May is a bluebell walk through Shaws Wood, South Wingfield.
The last walk was attended by 9 people and was a very enjoyable (and flat) walk of around
2 miles in Shipley Country Park, in good company and led by David.
The next walk will be on Thursday April 18th, led by Melanie. Meet at Ogston Reservoir West
Car Park, near the sailing club. Post Code DE55 6FN. This walk will include seeing the Herons
nesting, so bring your binoculars if you have them. We will then continue to Brackenfield
church, and back the same way.
The May walk will be on the 16th. Details to follow.
