Whitley Bay

What On

We all look for places to go in the evenings rather than have another night in front of the tv.
This page has been requested for all members to add events to that they are either going to or are looking for others to attend. If we all suggest individual events, this will give us more ideas of what we could do.
Suggestions could include the following, but are not limited to:-

  • University Lectures and Events.
  • Exhibitions, art shows, craft fairs.
  • Organised items at place such as The Linskill Centre, The Exchange, North Shields.
  • Folk clubs, speakeasys, bands playing at pubs etc
  • Films, Lectures.
  • Folk Music. Northumberland Folk Song and Music Diary

Ray was recently part of the creative team that won a Royal Television Society Award for the brilliant BBC 4 documentary, The Alan Hull Story.
